Hi all.
First of all i want to make it clear that i am not looking. I already have got a girlfriend but there are some questions i want to ask here.
A lot of people create topics saying that they are single and looking for people and they say what age they look for etc. One important thing they never say is where the person they are looking for should live.
Do they are looking for a person from the same state or country? If not are they willing to travel by train, plane etc to meet this person one day? Because it's not enough just chatting on the internet. The most of the people never say anything about how far away the other person should be and how far they are willing to travel.
So this is something i was wondering and i think we could get very interesting repplies.

Nikos I sometimes wonder if these lonely hearts are posting purely for attention, I suspect also, that they are not entirely serious.I would travel definately though I'm happily attached.
hmmmm, i have never been interested in posting on this board in the sence of looking for a partner, but i really understand what you mean by it not being enough to just chat on the net.. you must have a plan to meet or it will all end in tears
When and if I find the right person I will travel as far as need be to meet them. I would insist however, upon having members of both of our families present, or upon bringing along one possibly two of my close friends, especially if I had to travel to another country. The majority of the people you meet over the net are sane, rational non-rapists, non-psycho killers, but there are some twisted people out there, and one should always take care. Some mistakes can't be learned from, those that involve one's resultant death. Anyone can jump on a PC and tell you what ever they like, manufacturing a ficticious identity, inventing name, family, physical appearance, and career, while acting out a role and persona that is entirely different from their true personality. To everybody out there, never give up on love, but be careful. Always
Very interesting posts especialy the last one. It's true that people can say what they like about themselves on the internet and sometimes it might not be true so going to meet somebody with frends or family is always a good idea.
Your right there mate however, how many lonely hearts have been broken by false information, look at the instances where men/women have sent their prospective date, a false picture of themselves, only for the poor woman/fellow to be shocked to the core by the very different reality.
Hmmmm, well, I don't mind traveling somewhere, but they only have to be in my same country, canada, or Mexico, and even still, that's pushing it, I have always found ldr's not to work, but we'll see if this one I am in does.
I just popped in to see what had been posted here since I left my last post. Jessmonsilva, I've seen your posts all over the place, and I just wanted to tell you, as a fello musician, I love that little tag line thingy that comes up along with your name when ever you post. I have a truly stupid question though. How does one get one of those little tag lines to come up with their names? I'd like to make one up to place with my screen name. Any help for me? Yes, I am perfectly aware that when it comes to computers I wrank in the twenty-fifth percentile. lol

To be able to change your rang message you have to be a premium member which is 25 pounds a year. Also with a premium membership there are other advantages like logging in invisible, having two minutes audio profile instead of 20 seconds, and much more.

Oh, thanks. Ah well, not for me then. I don't have enough money to buy food some weeks, so I certainly don't have money to boost my status on a web community. Two weeks ago I spent my weekly budget amount on getting my keyboard fixed, so, as you can see, I'm not in a position to spend extra money on non-esentials. I will have to reconsider it at a later time when I have money to spend. Thanks for answering my question though.
